Peer review
JBBS uses double-blind peer review. The process below is provisional while the inaugural issue is prepared.
1. SubmissionAuthors upload an anonymized manuscript and a separate title page
through the online form. Submission is free.
2. Editorial checkThe editorial office checks scope, completeness and anonymization
before review.
3. Double-blind reviewReviewers do not see author identities, and authors do not see
reviewer identities.
4. DecisionDecisions are based on scholarly merit. Payment never influences
an editorial decision.
5. After acceptanceOnly accepted articles are invoiced: PKR 15,000 (billing address
in Pakistan) or USD 55 elsewhere. See the
